There’s just something that irks me about Photoshop jobs on booty. It’s not that I’m mad at it. I actually find it amusing. But part of my amusement is to not only point it out, but to also hunt down the original photo if I can. And as recently pointed out, tumblr has been a great source for this game I like to play.
What’s also amusing is that not everyone realizes (or cares) when they are admiring a booty that has been touched by the Photoshop gods. But for those bootyologists that only want to keep their pallets pure with authentic butts, or if you’re just bored and looking for something different to do on the internet, learn how to Spot A Chop by reading below!
Rule 1: Too Good To Be True

The first way to spot a photoshopped booty is actually by remembering the old saying, “if it seems too good to be true, then it probably is.” There are definitely some amazing asses out there being captured on camera. But sometimes things are just too perfect to be believable. It’s true that they can’t all be fakes. But they can’t all be real either! If nothing else, when you see the picture of that unbelievable booty, don’t fall in love immediately. Be on your guard.
Rule 2: Bad Artifacts

You can’t (easily) photoshop a booty pic without leaving some clues behind in the photo. Since this isn’t a lesson on how to make fake butts, I won’t go into heavy detail. But if a big butt picture has you on your guard, you can start examining around the “potentially enhanced area” for things that the chop would leave behind. Extra pixelation, unnaturally solid colors, lack of shadows, warped items in the background; all are good indicators that you might be fapping to a shopped booty.
Rule 3: Use Your The Tools Of The Internet

Photoshop was not invented so that we could make butts bigger (or was it?). But just like the shoppers, you also have the power of computers on your side for exposing fakes.
Though these tools were likely not made for your purpose either, sites like TinEye.com hve been very useful in finding the original versions of booty pictures that didn’t pass the sniff tests above. In a nutshell, TinEye runs any photo you submit though it’s database of known images and compares them graphically to find similar matches. If TinEye knows the original version of the photoshopped booty, it will match them regardless of the “enhancements.”

Thanks to this video and it’s creator, we’ve learned that Google Images works just as well (hell, sometimes BETTER) than TinEye for finding photoshopped butts. Clicking the little camera icon, it works similar to TinEye allowing you to put in the URL or upload of an image. It’s helped up to debunk even more unbelievable butts in our free time.

Now go forth, army of Chop Spotters, with your new found knowledge, and multiply!
